Grade levels listed for tryouts, apply to the player’s grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Players who will be in 8th grade and below in 2026-2027, should continue past the high school information and read through the feeder information. There are differences in requirements and registration, so please read carefully.
High School Program: Tryout Dates & Time
For information regarding Feeder Tryouts (players entering 2nd – 8th grades for the 2026 – 2027) scroll down. Feeder participants DO NOT create a DragonFly account or complete a GHSA Physical.

*Players making the varsity team will be told Thursday.
*Friday will be TBD, based on the number of players trying out and spots on the JV team available.
Prior to Tryouts – High School
All players interested in trying out for the East Forsyth Volleyball Program must create/update a DragonFly account, including a GHSA physical signed off by a medical professional within the previous calendar year. Individuals without a valid GHSA physical or DragonFly account will not be permitted to tryout for the team; we cannot make exceptions to this rule.
- Registered to attend East Forsyth High School for the 2026-2027 school year (exemption: Alliance Academy Students, who’s home school is EFHS)
- GHSA Physical Form – The date of the physical must be within one calendar year and uploaded to DragonFly – Form Link
- DragonFly – you must have all the required sections of your DragonFly account completed, including the upload of your physical paperwork

- Registered for Tryouts – please complete the Google Form to register for tryouts.
Parent & Player Handbook
The version of the Player & Parent Handbook is from the 2025 season. The 2026 version of the handbook must be signed by both player & parent/guardian to participate in the 2026 season. We encourage players & parents/guardian to read through the handbook together and discuss the requirements to participate. We understand that this is a large financial and time commitment for families, so please take the time to understand all the requirements prior to tryouts and commitment night. The cost for the 2025 season was $850 for members of the high school program. We included a general list of costs the fees cover in the handbook.

We try not to cut any Elementary School Children, however, we may be limited in the number of players we can support with our Feeder C team.

Feeder Participants DO NOT need to complete a DragonFly account or complete a Physical. Parents/Guardians will need to sign off on the physical wellness of their daughter.
Commitment Night: HS & Feeder Programs
We will collect fees, paperwork, and players will be able to try on and order their gear for the season.
